When you have successfully completed the registration process with us, you will receive an email with instructions for getting started with Crucible Connect. If you face any troubles, just drop us an email at enquiries@crucible.com.sg, and we’ll assist you right away!

With Crucible Connect, students can access video lessons and tutorials anytime, anywhere — at their own pace. Every student will automatically receive premium access to the subjects they are enrolled in. Additionally, they can explore limited revision videos for other subjects, even those they’re not enrolled in!
We encourage our students to make the most of this fantastic resource to enhance their learning journey and reach their full potential.
Fee Structures
a. 2025 Lesson Prices
Starting 1 January 2025, the following tuition fees will apply:
For Junior College (JC) and International Baccalaureate (IB) students:
- Term Payment Scheme: S$100 per 2 hour lesson.
- Monthly Payment Scheme: S$115 per lesson 2 hour lesson.
For Secondary and Primary students:
- Term Payment Scheme: S$80 per 2 hour lesson.
- Monthly Payment Scheme: S$95 per 2 hour lesson.
For students that are new to the Crucible experience, there will also be a one-time registration fee of S$100 regardless of the number of subjects they are enrolling in. All prices are exclusive of GST and will be tallied in the invoice sent to your email.
b. Term Schedules
Our classes are thoughtfully designed to support your child's learning.
Regular Term Periods: Classes are held once a week.
Exam Preparation Phases: We step up the pace with twice-weekly sessions to help students prepare confidently.
The detailed class schedule will be shared with students before each term begins by their own individual tutor, keeping in mind variations in school timetables. If there’s ever a scheduling conflict, don’t worry; we’ve got you covered! Simply refer to our make-up policy on the next page for alternative arrangements.
Our proprietary online platform, Crucible Connect, is designed to provide parents and students with a seamless and enhanced learning experience. This innovative system empowers both parents and students to stay informed and monitor progress more effectively throughout their educational journey. Best of all, Crucible Connect is included as part of every student's term package at no additional cost.
2025 Term Schedule Overview
Duration: 6 January ~ 6 April
Chinese New Year Break: 27 January ~ 2 February
Term 1
Duration: 7 April ~ 6 July
To build on the success of our 2024 Mid-Year Examinations (MYE), we will further refine and conduct the MYE again in 2025. The MYE will take place during the June school holidays, during one of the regular term 2 lessons.
Centre Break: 30 June ~ 6 July
Term 2
Duration: 7 July ~ 5 October
Term 3
Duration: 6 October ~ 30 November
December Break: 1 December ~ 31 December
Term 4
A detailed term schedule for each level is provided below for your reference.
c. Make-Up Policy
We ask that students inform their respective tutors at least one week in advance if they are unable to attend a scheduled lesson, providing a valid reason for their absence.
We request that students attend their make-up lesson within the same week, by joining another available class. Please note that make-up lessons cannot be carried over to the following week.
If attending the make-up lesson is not possible, students will be provided with a complete recording of the lesson via Crucible Connect. Students are also encouraged to arrange a consult with their tutor after watching the recording to clarify any questions and concepts taught during the lesson. The recording will be equivalent to attending the scheduled lesson.
d. Term Payment Fee Structures
The fee structures for JC1 / JC2 and IB5 / IB6 are as follows:
* Exclusive of H1 General Paper, all H1 and SL Subjects have 1 lesson a week each term.
The fee structures for SEC1 / SEC2 / SEC3 / SEC4 are as follows:

Term Payment and Invoicing Policy
Invoices: Each term's invoice will be emailed to the parent’s registered email address
between the 10th and 12th day of the month.
Payment Collection: Invoice’s due date will be 7 days from its date of issue.
Pro-Rated Payments and Adjustments
1. Late Enrolment:
• Payment will be pro-rated based on the remaining number of lessons for that term.
2. Extra Lessons:
• For extra lessons, an invoice will be issued after the tutor notifies both parent and tutor and the parents agree on the extra lesson dates.
The fees will be prorated as follows:
• JC & IB: S$100 per 2 hour lesson (exclusive of GST)
• Secondary and Primary: S$80 per 2 hour lesson (exclusive of GST)
e. Discount for students that enrol in 3 subject or more
For students who take three or more subjects with Crucible, we would like to thank them for their trust by offering a 50% discount on the fees from the subject with the least amount of sessions.

f. Withdrawal Policy
Students who wish to withdraw may do so by informing their tutor(s) before the term comes to an end. The student will be automatically withdrawn from the subject as requested at the end of the term. Withdrawing in the middle of the term will not be allowed.
